We were recently asked to create an artificial palm tree arrangement in a private residence in central London. The interior designer wanted to use large palms to create an impressive tropical display for her busy client, without having to worry about maintenance, or keeping the right conditions for real palm trees. We used a combination of tall phoenix palm trees to give height, and some shorter areca palms to fill out the large planter.
